pretty sure the interior light doesn't come on when you open the boot

but it does come on when you unlock the car or open the doors so connecting a boot light to the interior light circuit sounds like a very good idea too

yea or just leave your door open and the light wil stay on as you go into your boot. MORE money to spend and ive just done my headlining why didnt i think of this before!!! well sure the light wont be much or ill take one from work

what colour wire do we tap into for the 12v + and is it permanent live or ign switched ?

boot light..

so the brown/blue wire is the 12v + and I assume we just need to ground the - side from the light housing ?
