Where would be the best place to go for a custom re- map and what kind of bhp/torque figures could i expect to get ? also would it be worth while getting forgeTIP and downpipe + de-cat first?

If you are going for a custom map do all your mods first then get it done. best bet is Star Performance in Kirkcaldy

Yeah it would be lot better with FMIC, turbo back exhaust, induction kit of some sort, uprated DV, TIP, the list is endless really.

There is also some where in Glasgow that does Custom code now i think, check the CC section.

yeah, downpipe, High Flow Cat/Decat, Cat back system would be good, FMIC certainly helps alot but not essential for a remap..

i had mine mapped at star earlier this year, at the time i was running a cat back system, forge 007 and BMC CDA. i dont have a rolling road printout for the car since it was mapped but i should have some figure shortly.. Jim @ Star reckons it should be about ~190bhp and ~240ft.lb from past experience, he does have rolling road facilities there but i didn't have time to wait for a power Run to be done..

Feels like a totally different car to drive, with the addition of a laguna FMIC on mine i waved cheerio to subaru impreza wrx the other day!

Well worth the cudos!

J Gracie Engineers in Duntocher do Custom Code mate, I had my cupra done there last month and what a huge difference it made and mine is completly standard barr a catback exhaust. Uprate your standard dump valve first tho to either the 007p model or the newer split R one

The cost for the Custom Code Ph1 is £450 that includes VAT :D

The car was 150bhp standard last time it was rollin roaded, will find out on the 2nd december what its putting out now, you have the exact mods as mine mate apart from the induction kit

The difference is huge and even with the same mods you'll deffo feel the difference

Yea its near clydebank
