don't go Seat, it absoloutely crap, the colour is far too dark and others will vouch for this. Do your halfords not have a paint mixing desk, if you tell them the code they make it and mine was spot on.

I got mine from SEAT and to be honest its a really good match IMO! Only problem is that you have to shake loads to get the paint to mix properly (otherwise it can look extremely dark).

I got platinum grey touch up paint kit from SEAT for free when I bought the car. Not tried it yet, but colour code on paint matches colour code in the manual which is promising.

Avoid Halfrauds crap, as tried that with my old red ibiza and was an awful match and when tried to get refund they tried to say it was my fault I chose the wrong colour, even though one of their guys actually came out to look at my car before giving me the colour I'd need! :censored:

i think this situation can depend on a number of factors, a lot of people on here have had a Seat touch up and it's been shocking, more like a match for luna grey and have gone halfords, had it mixed and it's been spot on.

Looking at the above its visa versa though, i'd be prepared to do both though if your wanting a good finish and one doesn't work. Don't use the brush you get with these kits though, thats one thing that applies to them all. Use a 0000 or 00000 model brush. £2.50 of the bay but worth it ;)
