Hey all!

Picked up my Flash red Beeza 2 months ago for a pricey £2800 (low miles and vgc, though :D )

I haven't planned any big budget Engine/suspension/bodywork mods, mainly because i need the money for uni, so instead i thought i'd make an FR replica, which can be done cheaply..

nothing exciting , got future plans such as custom backbox and tints, with the POSSIBILITY of lowering :p

Anyway, enjoy!

Here she is when i first picked her up..

The first thing i did was take the rear mudflaps off, they make the back look hideously fat, ;)

Then i found a set of 16 inch FR wheels with good Bridgestones for sale, which i bought from a member called Fozworth (jamie) for a pretty decent £200, then the next day, i colour coded a new set of side rubstrips with some filler primer, a few cans of Halfords Flash Red, and a lot of rubbing..

Few weeks later, i decided to colour code the front calipers, and do the rear drums black..

simple enough job, bit of white spirit etc.. :D

Think it is a great mod that transforms the car's look, without looking out of place or chintzy.. :)

finally, i decided to get rid of the awful chrome grille pack at the front, and replace it with the honeycombe ones from the FR..

One problem was i didn't think i needed to order the plastic foglamp surround bit (since i don't have any ), but it turned out the bottom bit didn't fit the standard plastic cover things (if that makes sense)...

But i still think it looks much better for it, they were a right pain to fit though!

And then the all important addition...

I've also just picked up a few interior bits,

I ordered the Cupra stitched leather handbrake cover...

and picked up an awesome looking MOMO leather gearknob cheap from a mate at work...

Also planning on picking up a decent Head Unit at the end of the month, the standard one is irritating, mostly because of the annoyingly invisible display (which isn't backlit during daytime) :D

Agree! i'm sure i'll do it eventually, it looks like a Polo Dune or something, espesh from the back... i'm thinking 25MM at front, 35MM at back, anyone done this?

trust me 35mm is nothing, really needs to be 50mm+, it's costly but it's worth the drop you'll get

where did you get the honey comb grills from which go next to the main grill under the bonnet and how much were they please?

You can get them from the dealers.
Im not sure how much they are seperate but the whole set which includes:

Top left
Top Right
Bottom Centre
Bottom Left Fog Surround
Bottom Right Fog Surround

Should come to about £50
