Hey All,

Well, I picked the car up yesterday, and have tonight spent most of the evening cleaning the car.

It's a 2004 mk4 Ibiza Cupra, finished in Platinum Grey Metallic paint. Currently, it has a shade over 33k on the clock, so nice and low mileage. It used to belong to a fellow SCN member, who will no doubt want to see what happens to the car as it develops!
I've got a few plans for the car, and I will keep this thread up to date with each change as/when it happens. But for now, here are the pics! Enjoy!

And one for those of you into your detailing: This is a basic clean, polish and wax. I need to claybar the entire car at some point, but this will do, for now ;)

Don't want to give too much away (yet) but this will be, as my last SEAT, virtually a total standard look externally, but with some minor enhancements.

I'm not going nuts on it - but I am aiming for OEM++ type styling :)

Sounds great, I for one am looking forward to seeing what happens :)

Well, it didn't take long, and it's nothing exciting, but the first mod is completed:

It's the Citroen C2 aerial. Total cost of £5 delivered.
Reception doesn't seem much worse than standard aerial - and for the amount I use the radio it should be fine.

I've also run a VAG-COM check for errors, and all seems ok, bar 1 code I can't seem to clear:

Address 09 -------------------------------------------------------
Controller: 6Q1 937 049 D
Component: 0000 BN-SG. 1S34
Coding: 16396
Shop #: WSC 06402
1 Faults Found:
01598 - Drive Battery Voltage
27-00 - Implausible Signal

I'm researching into this now.

Yeah you got it mate. Think you've posted on some of his threads before now.

I've got to get on top of the boost issue, as I haven't really noticed it until today, so it may mean a new N75 valve.

Ah, I saw this very car at the JKM rolling road day last month! Think it was 220+ bhp and around 270ft/lb I think. Check their website, the results are on there somewhere. :)

Rich - yes mate, I know it was at JKM - they're my garage of choice for all work on my car(s). :)

Paul - no mate, I won't be doing as much to the Ibiza. I do already have a large shopping list, but it's nothing out of the ordinary, plus everything I do to it will already have been done before no doubt.

Hope you enjoy the A3 - i did look at a few before I got this!
