you will need the clutch uprating

either induction kit or panel filter

312mm brake set up

Does the fuel pump need uprateing, because some people say its does others say it doesnt?

also with the 312 brake setup is that a straight bolt on or does it require carriers.etc. to be changed?

LCr/TT fuel pump is recommended, just depends on how strong your current one is.

Uprated engine mounts are also recommended.

Forge 007p DV, too.

you'll need carriers from a tt or mk1 octavia vrs i think. I had my fuel pump uprated to an LCR one. And as others have said, SS intercooler is the way to go ;)

Edit: I'm not sure about the forge hose you've mentioned. IIRC, that is specific to the FR with the side intercooler, so consequently, if you get the SS intercooler it won't fit I don't think. I read a thread about that very product a while ago, but I can't rmember where :(

Also, LCR MAF housing (3"). You'll need to get a Cupra TDI airbox if you want to keep an airbox, or a filter/induction kit with an 80mm neck if you dont.

you need the callipers, carriers, disc, pads and hoses.

contact the TT shop (you will have to phone them) they will do you everything except disc for £115.00 delivered

Is the LCR Fuel pump a straight replacement as in does it just bolt in place of the original, or does this require extras to be fitted?

All the work on my car was done by one of the forum sponsors on here. They sourced and fitted all parts. I'm fairly sure its a straight swap, but don't quote me on it ;) You'd be able to pick a pump up off the dealers, or a breakers, or eurocarparts or similar. Or even ebay lol.

Thanks, looking into getting LCR pump now... With the 312 brakes can i use the standard hoses?

Not a clue, but there's plenty of threads on here that would tell you. Or someone who has done it could post here :)

you can use standard hoses but they are tight when on lock. as the tt shop callipers come with the tt hoses which are a direct fit you might aswell use them

LCR MAF will fit onto a LCR tip, wont fit on a standard tip as the MAF is a larger size. Can get then from seat or breakers yards.

But an LCR tip will be a loose fit on the k03s hybrid. I cut away some of the inside of my Ibiza TIP so that I could stretch it over the LCR MAF, was still very hard to get it to fit though. I've since gone back to using a coupler for convenience, however, that leaves the edge of the tip in the way of the airflow so I don't know how beneficial it is.

So do you think that the LCR maf will be beneficial at all then? When you cut some of the tip to stretch it over the maf is there a reason why you have taken it off?

Had an interesting chat with someone very clued up on tuning the other day regarding this. Whilst the Seat Sport is bigger, apparently the pressure is not correct due to the size, whereas the Forge one, being smaller, maintains closer to the perfect pressure...the Venturi effect, apparently..I'm currently reading around a lot as trying to decide which FMIC to get myself, just found it quite interesting.
