£6200- £6500 is pretty good for an 04 plate car nearly 6 years old and still worth 35% that is a Ford or Vauxhall at 3 years!! Just sold our 57 plate Cadillac for £6500  Glad we were the second owner 21K new as lost over 60% in the first year!!

ooh thats harsh...was it the 300C? they look awesome, and i agree with what you say about audi drivers.

Ive only seen a couple of TTRS's, both times on the motorway, they're great, but i think they should have put that engine in the A5 Coupe, the TT is still just a TT, although a very good looking one, it just doesn't seem special enough. I'd love to drive one though.

just realised you said Cadillac, not Chrysler.

You can request the removal of the fixed spoiler on the TTRS at no extra cost. thats what i would choose, coz its still going to have that electronic raising one thats standard.

What was going through your head when you brought that?:-o

Lol needed a cheap car to pull a caravan and did not want my precious 1 Series towing a caravan. At 7.5K at a year old was a bargin for a 1.9 Tid 150 diesel. Both 1er and Caravan now gone and Caddy goes tomorrow............use a Travelodge for nights away now for stress free breaks :D

which is based on a Vauxhall Vectra. At some point most cars will be derived from about 4 platforms.

Saab actually did most of the development work for the Epsilon platform and some for the Epsilon II (Insignia, new 9-5) it under pin's quite a few car's

Regular
2002 Vauxhall Vectra
2003 Saab 9-3
2004 Chevrolet Malibu
2006 Cadillac BLS
Extended
2003 Vauxhall Signum
2004 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
2005 Pontiac G6
2005 Fiat Croma
2007 Saturn Aura
2008 Chevrolet Malibu

Which in itself defeats the point behind them doesn't it? People buy hot hatches because they're cheaper to buy and run than a 'proper' sports car. Seems that's no longer going to be the case.

Trouble is people can no longer add a £30k car to the life of their mortgage.

Car manufacturers must be praying for house price inflation to return because this is where they appear to be basing the current pricing structure, wages certainly wont be increasing that fast for the forseeable future!

now does that mean 310bhp (ps), or limited to 310 cars ala fr550?

if its 310bhp its more like what the R should have been as stock.

310hp, basically just a stage 1 cupra r, and looks like a cupra r for the swiss market. SEAT Swiss atleast made an effort I suppose
