I've been looking at exactly the same for my 2010 LCR, did you get any further with this and if so, was it a DIY fit? When I originally asked at a dealer they told me the connectors were different???

I picked up a set for £250 2nd hand, Fitting took around 15 minutes

They then needed to be coded by a VAG dealer using the VAS system

A lot of the run out Copas seem to have them fitted, just wait till one of those pops up at a breakers yard and then buy the rear lights! Could probably be had reasonably cheap.

Coding you go into the lights section and change rear from halogen to LED
