Yesterday was my turn for the Badger5 gear based boost treatment. ;) the bar was set high as i was already running a Badger5 custom map which i was very happy with.
The car was dynoed on its current map which pulled 312bhp which ain't too shabby considering the hybrid is really only half a hybrid by modern standards. I was dubious that Bill could get any more but he's always quietly confident.
A few hours latter with the new map the car was pulling 326bhp with gains across the rev range:).
The car drives superbly and i'm a happy easter bunny. Bills skills and customer service is second to none. Big thank you to the team for sorting the issues my car had on the RR (leaks etc). I can't recommend these guys enough.:funk:
Lots of logging for me to get to grips with my new gear based boost maps etc.
I'll post the graphs latter.

and the equivalent torque on a DD/R_tech dyno is 367lbft also :)

It does go very well.

Dont forget to replace the heatshield for me Carl when you can, so lupo has something to go on it when it goes full fat k04 hybrid shortly ;)

Thats alot of torque, she pulls well;).
i'll order the heat shield tomorrow, its a nice piece of kit. My car is twined to your Lupo now and i'll have my beady eye on any map updates she gets. Looking forward to the Lupo progress in the comming months.

Johnathon P... you need this in your life mate.[B)]

Its all working together nicely thanks, and the suspension was tested on saturday and fitted on Bills rollers with no drama. :)

I managed to do some logging of my new map last night. Very impressed to see the high timing held at the top, lower egts than before and less injector duty cycle. I noticed that when the new map was being tested on the rollers the manifold didn't glow as bright....superb result.
Gear based boost is perfect also.
Would the map tolerate ebc control or will it be a little unhappy during part throttle conditions.

Alex has sorted me out with a good deal on two upper vibratechnics engine mounts so looking forward to less engine movement and less strain on the exhaust manifold and down pipe.
The car is pulling very well at the moment consistently pulling 272 g/sec air mass after making a few tweaks to my intake and wmi install.

I'm also considering going non resonated 3 inch cat back and replacing my 100 cell cat with a larger but shorter substrate version to get more of a decat effect but still passing emission control.

I'll be looking forward to hearing what you think of the VT mounts. I've been very impressed with how connected the engine feels and the improved throttle response. The cabin vibrations have also started to die down.
Impressive figures also.

I'm not huge on cabin vibrations mind.
