I'm really enjoying this turbo, i have it set to boost to 23psi and it holds 21/22psi solid to redline, that makes for awesome power delivery, a nice flat power band.. Rock on.

This F23 just kicks the CR turbo's a$$ on some many levels its not even funny, its a totally different driving experience.

That's very nice boost delivery you have there Rob. Impressive to see the improvement in speed from your previous postings also. Very interested to see your future dyno's.

You know i am wondering should i get a B5 hooked onto this turbo, i have 2 of them, but the billet adapter needs to be machined out.

@ Bill what clearance do you normally use for your Billet adapters, the F23 is 54mm diamater on the inlet.

The B5 V3 doesn't have a billet adapter mate, why don't you go for one of those and sell the other two perhaps?

Very true. Results was the wrong word for me to use, maybe 'findings' would have been better for now! :)

I have a V1 and a V2.2, .1mm doesnt leave much room for error.

Bill are you able to check out a V3 over a 54mm shroud.

I dont have one to try it on..
I was going to be ordering an F23 off doug shortly to put on lupo, so I might do that sooner.

I'll ask doug.

Bill -- I still might have one of the TIPs you sent me last year. I am not sure if they're V1, V2 etc, but you machined the metal adapter to fit the F23s bigger inlet shroud. Should I send one of those metal pieces to Chi-Town, Robbie?

if its OD measures 76mm its the earlier V1 style, if its 80mm its the newer V2.x style

It's from fall '11. Here's how the adapter fits
