Mine have been in for years, some seem to get through them quicker

Here are mine

Fitted my dog bone mount. Definitely smoother on and off the clutch, gear changes are less "snappy" at speed and on an awkward hill start that I normally have TCS flashing the wheels didn't skip once!

Excuse the poor quality, Photobucket has suddenly butchered the file size of my mobile uploads...

Stripped down my original 02M gearbox (code ERR) to investigate the failure mechanism of the 3rd/4th selector fork.

Will it be the rivet that has failed, will it be the shift fork itself.......

It was the shift fork

Can you see the slight issue :cartman:

That was an interesting couple of hours stripping it all down, just need a new fork now and it's good to go :D

I changed my ignition coils and spark plugs by myself!! Yes nothing major but for a 25 year old woman who's never fixed anything on an engine I'm proud haha

I BlackSmoke remapped my TDI SE 110 to 137Bhp. Time will tell on economy but performance improved across the range and feels a lot smoother to boot! My only regret is not doing it sooner!

Next up - Mufflerectomy I reckon!
