If leather is properly cleaned it won't sag or crack or go shiny. Keeping leather nice and clean is quite simple really, problem is people just don't do it and use products on top of the dirt which make things worse. Amount of time I see people's leather and it is shiny just makes me cringe cause it's shiny due to it being dirty.

5 door manual
Emoticon Red - none of the colours are that exciting and this is "free". With the FR available in that awesome limey green, it surprises me that there are no more garish paint jobs available.
Winter pack - gotta have the heated seats.
Went for standard seats. The leather seats in dealer's Cupra looked a bit dull and mid-80s Volvoish to me. I love my current VXR partial leather Recaros but in my opinion the leather seats in the Leon don't come close looks wise. Saw standard seats in another dealer and I personally really like them. Seat Sound System.
Dealer says there was one on the system with a build number with this spec already.
7 weeks to go according to dealer's estimate.

matt no offence but do you work for broker4cars? Just that many of your posts seem to be about hp/pcp
Like I said no offence, I've been thinking about using a broker because of the savings, having never used one before I'm paranoid I'd get ripped off though there seems to be a few members in here who buy through brokers.
I've not spoken to any dealers yet so not sure what they'd offer but I can't see it being anything close to a broker. I'm looking to get payments as low as possible with a large deposit

Ordering today.

CUPRA 280 SC DSG.
Monsoon Grey.
SEAT Sound

I think the other options like adaptive cruise and Lane assist would annoy me.

Big mistake. ACC is the best thing i have had in any car after ABS.

I spec'd it for two reasons

1. I'm a sucker for toys, with the exception of integrated satnav systems which have always been a let down for me.

2. More relaxing and safer on long trips. On holidays to the continent I think adaptive cruise will pay for itself.

For anyone interested and not wanting to go through a broker. The Stoke SEAT dealer emailed me an offer today via Carwow for 3.5k off list on a 5 door 280. Worth phoning them direct.

Ordered today. Cupra SC 280 DSG in monsoon grey with full black leather, seat sound pack and space saver. Was told delivery would be around 12-14 weeks. Gonna be a very long wait!

I have ordered mine from there today. Salesman is Brett and a really nice guy. Did tell me though that you would not receive the same level as discount as a walk in customer as you do through carwow so worth getting yourself online.

Excellent choice of car there mate, Ordered exactly the same spec today mate only with the black leather. Was torn between the Nevada white and Monsoon grey but went with the monsoon due to the current number of white cars on the road. Just hope it looks as good on the cupra as the white as only got to see the monsoon on an fr.

First post, first SEAT.

To follow suit with nearly everyone else on page 3 it would seem, I've just ordered a Monsoon Grey SC with DSG, 10 speaker pack and black leather. I'm guessing that I've a long wait ahead of me...

I've gone through the same route for mine. Order went in a week ago and I have a provisional build date of week 18.

So you may not have to wait as long as you think. :D
