This may be a dumb arse question but my hubby kindly broke the plastic plug on the top of my fuel pump for my k1 which is currently running approx 360bhp can I swap my internals with a new one or do I need to get a new fuel pump suitable for the mods on the car. Tia x

This is the bit that's broken, just need the top bit for it, it's had all the internals done it's currently remapped with revo stage 2+ only done last week due to a new ecu been fitted, if I need to get a new fuel pump what's the best one to get.

I'm sure that part can be replaced but is not available separately so you need to source a new or used pump and swap it out.

If you're buying a new standard pump I would swap internals unless it's an APR or Loba pump you have as the pump seals will be fresh then.

PS your hubby is not the first to do that a few folks have so go easy on him:D

The car was already modified with custom code 2+ and with everything already done but due to throwing throttle body faults along with needing a new ecu I had to get it remapped agAin with revo 2+ so know the pump has already had all the internals done, as for going easy on him maybe I should do the same to his m3, all I want to do is drive the car, had is nearly 3 months done 80 miles and it's done nothing but fault and been in and out of garages hopefully new ecu has solved the problem.

Don't really know it kept losing all basic settings for the throttle body and after having that replaced along with wiring the only thing left was either the remap or ecu and because seat wouldn't put mine into another to test it I've had to get a new ecu and a new remap
