Hi, like the titel says, does a Seat Leon Cupras 5F exhaust system fit an Seat Leon FR 1.8 TSI DSG 180hp directly?

There is a guy who is selling a aftermarket Seat Leon Cupra exhaust. Actually two guys, the one is Miltek and the other one is Cobra. Both is dual piped with one pipe at each side.

They even have downpipe, would that also fit?

Sorry if it's been asked before i am new here on the forum. Generally on the Seat front.

Thanks in advance!

Regards

Is the cupra exhaust an upgrade? Can the downpipe be used to upgrade for stage 2 on the 1.8

So even if it's 2.0 instead of 1.8 the downpipe and rest of the system fits without any complications?

Do you mount the downpipe with an "adaptor" or what its called?

And do the car need to be reprogramed? Or its all good?

This is a "Cobra exhaust system" from a Cupra "S" I think, barely used.
I can buy it from the guy but I need to be sure that it fits without any problems.

I can put some images so you guys see the actual Cobra system. Here is some pics:

Damn i am only allowed one url because i don't have 15 posts..

ibb.co/ivoFKv (copy and paste)
ibb.co/k7kvKv (copy and paste)
ibb.co/nhj0ma (copy and paste)

But I will only buy after the downpipe and back sadly :(

1. Will this fit my Seat Leon FR 1.8 FR TSI 7DSG 5F 2013?
(AndrewJB said it should fit, but does anyone else have any input so I'm 100% sure, I can't return it if I buy it?)

2. This should make the sound nice I think, but will it give the special noise while my DSG changes gear also?

3. Will I get any power gains? If so how much would you expect?

4. Would you set the middle muffler or straight pipe it?

5. The boring bit is a piece of the rear bumper plastic must be cut out so the other pipe also fit...

If you guys could answer my questions I would be really grateful, he is like waiting for a response if I will buy the system or not.

Yes it should.

Love the color on your car, and it seems to be brutal...

Andrew, you seem to be from the UK and the system I am talking about is Cobra system, if I'm not wrong it's a UK product? Maybe you're into this stuff that's why am asking :)

Thanks in advance!

No OEM Cupra downpipe wont flow enough for Stage 2, you need a sports car from the likes of Milltek, Cobra, BCS, Scorpion.

So what's the verdict? Should I buy the cobra after cat system? There is pictures in page 1.

Does anybody know the approximate power gains with that cobra system instead of the genuine one?

Plus I will probably add a K&N panel filter also

Because they don't flow any better than OEM paper filters and actually let more harmful particles through than a paper filter.

Tried and tested many times.
Do any aftermarket panel filters work then?

A full aftermarket exhaust from the downpipe all the way back gives alot more than a few ponies. Atleast 10-15hp

If you have a stock 1.8tsi i would not be waiting those kind of gains,
sounds like a marketing speech to me...
It will give some for sure, but dont expect too much...
More than anything it will give you different sound and more responsive turbo
