Well she's still alive :)

Not much has happened with the car over the last 2 years, we moved house last year so any spare time I've had has been spent getting the old house ready to sell and then sorting out the new one.
The car also got it's own house :)

Although she's been evicted back to the drive to make way for a temp workshop.

One small job that I have had done was to have the roof wrapped gloss black by S6Wraps.

I've got a couple of nasty jobs to do, brake pressure sensors and one of the lock modules is playing up, other than that she's in good mechanical order.

I'm hopefully going to a rolling road day in a few weeks so I might have some new photos soon :)

Good to see she's still going.
Let us know how you get on with the brake pressure sensor issue, I have the problem too but despite what I've written in the past I think it's a case of changing the main brake control unit rather than the individual pressure sensors on the brake servo.
Pics aren't showing though.

Been a good couple of years since I last saw your motor down at AMD. Do they still have the odd RR day like they used to? Haven't seen Maz for a while.

Still have the Mk1 too and will be fourteen years next summer :)

Still going strong. Happy days.

Nice to see that you have a garage for her too, but bugger that is tight. Do you get out of the car and push her in?

Finally, why is it you spend loads of time sorting your old house to sell just to do it all over again in the new one? In theory the new house should be sorted by the previous owner so they could sell it.....!? Still I can empathise having just gone through the same process just over a year ago.

Above all though enjoy

I'm hoping its just the sensors, hopefully I'll get them done next year.
Apparently the picture problem is due to a plug in

It has been a long time mate, I think its about 2 years since the last RR day that I organised.
I did pop over to AmD at the weekend and saw Maz, Tom and a few other old faces, maybe we'll have to look at an SCN old school reunion RR day.

Unfortunately the cars going to have to spend this winter on the drive, the garage is being used as a work shop at the moment until I get around to building a new workshop next year.

Finally got around the fitting my new/re done carbon OEM splitter

I also decided to swap the polished charge pipe and manifold for matt black and refitted the S3 washer cover.

I think I prefer it without the S3 cover

Well when you're done and she's sorted ready for the spring, it would be nice to organise one then.

Dust down the old bbq, a nice spring day, some old SCN friends sounds great in my book. :D

Things have been pretty hectic since I last updated this thread.
I’ve managed to get a few bits done on the car in between making carbon parts.

I’ve been working on 2 225 LCR wheels for a while now, originally I was going to leave them both fully round but decided to try flattening the bottom.

Great car and love the Carbon bits, my two favs are the rear lights and the center hubs very cool.

I have started to do this on my car so now I have even more to do but it looks awesome.
