I came across this Cupra hatch on autotrader a while back and thought it worth posting here. IMO it is a really nice example of how a few choice mods can make the stock car look more purposeful. Does anyone recognise the car?

TRC side skirts? Didn’t know they even existed!

Keep thinking of getting my front grills wrapped in black gloss, but wasn’t sure how it would look with the Alor blue...but now I can see it looks mean!! I shall be doing that for certain!

Agreed. I’ve already decided that I want to wrap the front lower bumper lip (prior to fitting the trc splitter) along with the spoiler.

I am quite tempted to have my wheels powder coated, as they look pretty good in black...

Wonder where the little lip on the rear spoiler came from...

If the side skirts are TRC, it may be a demo/concept of their products. Either way, I shall be contacting them.

Had a response from TRC regarding the side skirts:

“The skirts you would have seen fitted to the leon mk3 would have been our caddy 2k side skirt splitter adapted to fit.

We have never fitted the caddy skirts to a leon and are unsure how much work is needed to make them fit, but apparently its easily done.”

I just had another look and the car is still on there, albeit marked as “deposit taken”. Even more interestingly there is currently an example of a sc with the JE design wide body kit there. I can’t yet post links but it looks pretty badass

There might be some good money in there for them if they do, I am only aware of the Maxton Design one’s at present

I’m trying to...It looks like the Maxton spoiler extender for the FR - sent a message to Maxton and to TRC to see if either of them know of it fitting to the Cupra spoiler. It’s the best part of £100, so could be a fairly expensive gamble.

Though I’ve just gambled on the TRC side skirts for the MK2 Leon which are fitted to that beastly looking Cupra above - £118.

I’ve ordered the side skirts and the spoiler lip (thanks for the right direction!) - I’m holding off on the diffuser as I have Racingline providing a newer, better exhaust and I’m not sure if a standard diffuser will fit properly - it’ll be two 3” circular pipes either side.

Now, do I simply take off the grills and spray them black gloss...or do I get them wrapped/plasti-dipped?
