Wet boot

Evening all.
Just went to put something in my boot and have a wet mat amd loads of water in the spare wheel holder. This is the first time i have seen this.
It has been raining really hard today
Anyome else had this problem

It seems searching on the forum brings up a few posts and most lead to the rear wiper pipe disconnecting hence a puddle... Your rear washer still working?

If not maybe check the seal with someone on the inside with the seats down and you hosing water over the rear end... You look for air bubbles and the inside person looks for a leak...

My conclusion of random posts on here lol

Hello buddy. Rear wiper and jet working fine but i will look at that to rule it out failong that i will get the hose pipe out

Found out today where its coming from.
It was coming in from the rear lights on the boot and down the boot panel

Any tips on how to find this ? Had the hosehpioe on the car but not found it yet. Picked my car up today and water in the spare wheel holder too.

Tbh i found it by chance. Was raining very hard and when i opened the boot just see it dripping. All ive done is took both boot lights out clean the rear of the lights and where they sit in and applied some clear silicone inside the light housing so far no water
