It starts with the Ateca, then continues with the Leon Mk4.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but I would imagine ordering for Ateca will start in Q4 this year, and new Leon in late Q2/early Q3 next year...

When does the factory close is it July or August? Just trying to work out if my order will get converted or not.
Ateca & Toledo - cw28-cw29
Mii - cw29-cw30
Alhambra - cw31-cw33
Ibiza & Arona - cw32-cw34
Leon - cw32-cw35

We're in cw26 now

I ordered my ateca on 8th June no confirmation yet other than dealer. Stated delivery is October so looks like I'll be getting an MY19 at this rate.

I'm curious though scrogg, in one of your previous threads you said my18 cars being converted to my19 will get at least the spec ordered and price protected. I'm between the excellence and excellence Lux trims given the new my19 ateca trim levels with some options I selected only available in the excellence Lux model for my19 so am hopeful that I will be upgraded to the excellence Lux. Would certainly make the wait till October easier to bear!

Oh well let's see how things pan out!

I can't answer that. And nor can anyone else on here, no matter how much you speculate. You'll just have to wait until your MY19 order confirms before you'll know exactly what you're getting.

Yes expected as much, oddly I'm excited about finding out which is a little bit sad lol. Thank you for the useful thread, will keep following.

Sorry, that was unfair of me. Been a rough day.

What options have you ordered?

We already know your 1.4 EcoTSI 150 DSG-auto will be built as a 1,5 TSI EVO 150 DSG-auto.

Hi scrogg not to worry I didn't even realise you were being 'unfair' I meant I expected no one would be able to confirm, kind unthinking out loud :). You don't have a crystal ball after all (or do you? Lol).

As posted in the welcome thread the car is for my father he's had a rough year health wise (major back surgery and bilateral hips with a revision 1 month later as the new hip joint slipped) and car wise and it's my treat for all the years he's taken care of me car wise being a mechanic (he's retired now through health).

I 've got him an 1.4 (1.5) ateca bila white in excellence trim with virtual cockpit, park assist, spare wheel, extended warranty, service pack and advanced comfort and driving pack. He wants to add electric seat to it though so will speak to the dealer tmrw about it.

I loved it on the test drive so much If finances allow I will get one for me too. Tired of constantly having to fill up my 1988 300ce w124 coupe, old school 3l in line 6. I average 250 miles to the tank on a good day lol!

Then my guess is you'll get exactly what you've ordered...

Park Assist has been dropped completely, and the spare wheel, extended warranty and service plan are still extra, so only the digital cockpit, part of the advanced comfort and driving pack and the leather are now XCELLENCE Lux features. They're not going to give you free 19" alloy wheels, electric tailgate and top view camera (£1,530 at today's prices) so you won't be getting an upgrade, sorry

Waste of money in my experience (last two Ateca had it - current one doesn't - don't miss it) and they've dropped it which suggests I'm not the only one to think so.

Hi Scrogg

So based on your wisdom and the lack of anything from my dealer.
What do you think I will get from mine, I ordered CW19 I believe 9th may the dealer placed the order
Seat Leon FR ST 1.4 eco tsi 150 in eclipse orange.
Options I ordered:
Parking assistance pack
18” Performance 30/3 alloys.
Digital dash
Convince packspace saver spare wheel.

You'll get what you're bloody well given and be grateful!

Seriously though, other than it almost certainly being a 1.5 TSI EVO 150 and not actually knowing which style 18" alloy wheels they are using for MY19 the rest of your specification is still available, so I would be very surprised if you don't get exactly what you ordered.

I’m getting confused, with all the changes currently taking place. Orderd my cupra 4drive in March, quoted as delivery in September. I know my order has been accepted, no built date. So what am I going to get??
Ordered pan sunroof, Seat sound and winter pack!

As already posted in this thread:

And as posted elsewhere, in various other threads running on the same subject, SEAT UK have confirmed that other than if a car that has been ordered cannot be built (which is a tiny, tiny number, and affected customers have already been notified) customers will get at least the specification ordered, and may actually get more (although I think we all know very few will get more),

Be patient people

So spoke to dealer today about adding electric seat for my dad. Dealer says that would cause considerable delay to the order and bring it to a MY19 and delivery will likely be in 2019 somewhere around January!

Having ordered June 8th I thought the car would already be a MY19!

Matt when you say confirmed, what confirmation did you receive? Invent even been given a seat order number and I barely get an acknowledgement or response from phone messages or emails I send.

I rang my dealer to find out if i would be receiving this years model or next years (MY19) he said that he had got confirmation from seat uk that it would be a MY19, i have had not delivery dates apart from they mentioned October, however from what I understand, the October date is the date the dealer has kinda requested but hasn’t been confirmed by seat, i guess the confirmed delivery date will be ~5 weeks from delivery

Not looking good for me in afraid. I get the impression that the dealer I ordered from doesn't quite know what he's talking about or just not being upfront with me. I should be getting a my19 regardless of ordering an elec seat or not and with the options available till 3rd July as per scroggs previous thread it should be built to spec. I wonder if making the change is just simply a bit of a pain for the dealer and hence they are reluctant. Partly my own fau it I tho right he could do without the electric but he needs the fine adjustment.
