Im looking to purchase a 2008 Seat Leon 2.0TSFI with 69000 miles. I have friends trying to deter me saying that DSG become problematic at high miles... Been doing some research and the gear box seems pretty reliable. what should I look for and if any links to articles about this would be really appreciated.

DSG is fine, check it's been serviced properly and/or budget to have the oil done yourself.
Check the cam follower has been done on the Engine as well.

As above, plus check the cambelt has also been done in the last 4 or so years.
