Update
Managed to get an update with the dealer and put it on the table
that if i was not going to get the paddles retrofitted or a bigger "Goodwill" Gesture
that the car would be handed back and I'd exercise my consumer rights to return it as being
unfit for purpose and not as described and reject the vehicle for a replacement.
Dealer then said to me that they would need to speak to Seat UK again..... who had said initially it would be
up to the Dealerships discretion if they wanted to retro fit but the Dealer would foot the cost :/. (After offering me a roof rack, DashCam or
£200 goodwill if i accepted the car in its current state).
However the dealer mentioned that if they were to Re-order another car that they would want the car I currently have back ASAP
I expressed that I was unhappy with that as its effectively Seat's F*ck up and I would then be without a car which I can't do
with 2 young children and the fact I'd recently become much more immobile due to an emergency surgery to the point of being disabled (just waiting to hear back from the Gov)
Dealer still insisted that they wouldn't be able to budge on that as its so that they can then sell it on with as few a' miles as possible.....
(And im sure at a massively reduced price due to missing the paddles, small amount of mileage on the car too!)
Dealer was unprepared to
lower price of the car down to standard "FR" spec pricing as I'd seen from another member that their local dealer
was doing....
So more than happy to keep me paying the full amount and not sorting it, but not to drop it down in price or re-order a new vehicle and allow
me the use of a courtesy car/this car until then.
