Not heard of anyone using a blue fin but I no there is a few people who use the TDI tuning box which can be adjusted via a app on your phone. I think there is group buy discount in the mk3 Leon owners group on FB

It’s about 420 fitted with the bluetooth module. They have a 10% discount code in the website. I’ve posted the link below but if you give them a ring and speak to stuart at the Manchester branch he is sound and will look after you pal. There is a few lads got them and the quoted figures on the website are pretty consistent to what they have got on a rolling road.

I had a Bluefin for my Focus ST (Mk3.5) which was great. It had a crazy torque spike at ~2k rpm. Lots of fun that was except in the wet.

I prefer the Bluefin method over fitting a tuning box.

I really wanted to get a bluefin but their quoted power output is almost 50hp down from what you get from a decent remap.

These guys are well regarded and offer a touch tune

https://www.jfautomotive.co.uk

I was about to pull the plug with them until I got a remap offer in black Friday sale with my local remappers.

I'm of the opinion you do not need a specialist tuner for non specialist cars.
