Thought so
Sensor fitted properly and checked with vagcom calibrate itself after motorway drive. It’s not a retrofit, my car came with it, but I took it out after hitting a pheasant.
It’s probably possible to retrofit, but wouldn’t come cheap. The sensors themselves are hundreds of pounds, and it’s around £400 to calibrate the sensor once fitted. With any new sensor There may be additional software requirements and cabling added too.

Any dash cam footage, could make an insurance claim against their insurance.Had an altercation with a curb while attempting to get out of the way of an old dear who took a liking to my side of the road round a bend. Wheel is far from happy and tyres have a chunk taken out.
I’ll go and speak to the tyre place tomorrow but I would prefer not to have to replace my tyre as it’s only a few months old... my suspicion is it will have to go though

The tyre is definitely done for.Wheel is far from happy and tyres have a chunk taken out.

Bought a reverse cam and adaptor plug etc
Hopefully just be PnP when it arrives and a bit of coding on OBD11
I'm exceptionally interested in this post, dying to fit the reversing cam. Would you keep me posted on how you get on?
Mine has been connected to an optimate 6 once a month during the winter (as I dont travel far) for the last couple of years with no problems.just a quick one, is it ok to charge a battery in a car with a start/stop system?
Just need to add that I have added the permanent connection supplied with the Optimate which makes it easier and safer to use on a regular basis.Short answer is I agree with @Seastormer
Long Answer
From the 2014 Manual

– Open the battery cover.
– Connect the charger clamps as described to the positive pole of the battery (+) and
exclusively to an earth on the bodywork (–).

battery! Failure to do so may lead to an
explosion.
Note
Use only the terminals in the engine compartment
to charge the battery.
Just need to add that I have added the permanent connection supplied with the Optimate which makes it easier and safer to use on a regular basis.
