Car Length In Front
Bought and tried to fit the new passenger window switch, still dead. Have checked all the wiring and visually and still connected. Does anyone know if there's a fuse just for the passenger side please?

I can operate the window from the drivers side so I thought the fuse would be ok
Yes there is a fuse just for the door. But from memory it would affect the central locking of that door too. I could be wrong though.

I'll have a look in the book later and have a check. Ta

Fuse 39 in the interior fuse box controls the front passenger door control unit and the rear passenger side window regulator motor. See if you can open the rear passenger side window. Fuse 39 is the 30A fuse to the left of the yellow 20A fuse on the fourth row.

Just tried it and it works. Must have done something to the wiring then :(

Screen protector removed and wont be coming back again...

I don't know how some others are able to use this, or maybe I just got a bad one....

Played with a Golf R.

When rolling there really isn’t anything in it, if anything the R was dropping ever so slightly??

The R is heavier, watch reviews of comparisons on the track the cupra will win every time. (In the dry )

I have seen one where it pipped it around a track, off the start in dry it’s a no win.

Was just entertaining to see the guy in my rear view at one point visibly dismissing what wasn’t happening

The even funnier thing is there’s a comparison with the R and the RS3 (not the newest one mind you) and the R is quicker. So as long as there’s a few corners in your way they aren’t to be feared either.

Now that would be even more annoying for a RS3.. considering the price and being classed as a Hyper Hatch!

I have found, or maybe I’m not used to it considering my car before was a GTD, you can literally power though a corner, the LSD is a gizmo!!

Turns out this little sod was the issue. I'm blaming myself, I don't think I clipped this in far enough

LOTS of VCDS 'tweaks' today:-
  • Lock car with engine running using KESSY
  • Audi throttle response tweak
  • Mirrors fold on lock, unfold on unlock
  • DRL on/off option in menu
  • Refuel qty in maxidot
  • 'Sport' (drive mode) button light delete
  • Start/stop disable
  • Needle sweep on ignition on
  • Tear drop wipe for front+rear wipers
  • Fog lights on with high beam
  • Fan/blower speed displayed in Auto
  • Upper speed threshold for cornering fogs
And LOTS of 'bits' ordered:-

  • Fan washer jets (heated)
  • Key end
  • Key covers
  • DSG gear lever in nappa + brushed alloy
  • Chrome pedal covers
  • Seat dust caps
  • Dashcam
  • Leads/connectors for dashcam
  • Gas struts for bonnet
Having fun right now!

Did the Audi throttle cause an error?

Some people said they had trouble but not sure if it’s in ACC or non ACC cars

I did direct throttle adaptation and didn’t make much difference so have DTUK pedalbox

No errors as I have ACC as you point out.

Doesn't make a blinding difference, but a noticeable one if you think about it!

Getting it remapped soon & cat back exhaust etc. so should be a bit more 'spritely' in due course!!!!

Maybe it’s the non ACC cars that have the error then

The DTUK pedal box makes a big difference and worth a go

Yes - non ACC cars have terrible issues! Speak to my brother-in-law about his VRS Octavia for the full onslaught of troubles!
