Hi, as per title I would like to bring the wheels out inline with the arches, so what size do people go for and as the car wont be lowered on different springs will it look ok?

Depends if you’re lowering it and if your running standard wheels and what tyres. The Michelin PS4S 235/35 R19 look a but more chunky or square a tyre compared to the Contis it came with.

With my carbon wheels ET50 and on Eibach Sportlines 10mm front and rear rub.

Front rubs on big dips on the inner arch liner just where the arch and bumper meet (you’ll feel a bulge in the arch liner where a nut sits behind)

That’s even with -2.5 degrees of camber that I have on the front and the plastic lip removed.

Rear rubs on the plastic lip, but I think without it 10mm would be fine. I’ve just not got round to getting some more 10mm spacers for the rear.

No I wont lower this car, as my drive way is at a sharp angle and my other lowered cars scrap if I go more than 1mph. So just looking for wheel spacer sizes on a standard car, but only if car looks good on standard springs

Progressive Parts sell a VAGSport set that will be bang on then, thinks it’s 12mm/15mm. @paddy6789 didn't your dad by a set for his 265 lol

Not yet - he’s thinking of getting them.

I would get them but I’m pretty sure my car is too low

@PP Gareth should be able to help you with the VAGSport spacers :)

Ok great I will order 12/15 thankyou for reply. Going to be my first mod. Exhaust will be next mod but have to wait until Scorpion bring the system on the market, they say 2 to 3 months. I cant think of anything else to do in the mean time?

I went for 17.5 rear and 12.5 front on my St and I have to say it looks good, had to remove the plastic trim above the wheel arches tho.

Hi Deano j1971 was your car lowered? as mine wont be

@paul7619,no mate car is not lowered but with the spacers it sort of looks it’s been lowered as the wheels are closer to the arch.

Looking good. With those rs6 style tail pipes, do they fit with the normal rear diffuser?

@paul7619,no they did not that’s why I got the Rieger rear diffuser as I already had the Rieger front splitter.

These are PS4s, right? Been hearing so much about them but this non-existent rim protection is an absolute deal braker. It's crazy how they manage such high scores and great reviews when missing such a feature.

@Deano j1971 has black Alloygators fitted which is why it looks like the tyre shows there is no rim protection.

The PS4S tyres on my CUPRA do extend quite a bit outside the wheel and will offer some protection

. Myself and @Jimbobcook had exactly that conversation at the meet we had at Doncaster at the weekend.

OK that makes more sense. Didn't know of the Alloygators existence. Still the rim protection of the PS4s is inferior to that of the PZ4.

@Stefan147, the Alloygator rim protectors are the best piece of kit you can get for your wheels, they come in different colours and sizes and have saved my wheels from being curbed many times. As you probably know you can only get diamond cut alloys refurbed 3 times, I would of needed two new sets of alloys by now lol.
