I love everything about it except one thing... The wipers on maximum speed aren't quick enough. I've seen wipers on a Renault go twice the speed of the Leon's wipers.

Car Length In Front
Especially the look of BMW/Merc/Audi driviers with their respective cars...when they see the gap widening rapidly between the Cupra and theirs despite their foot being flat to the floor. Unless they they are proper M / AMG / S cars, and wondering, why can't they close the gap as they normally would..
Had this with a Range Rover the other day :D I mean I know it was only a Range Rover, but it was great to leave him behind when he tried to bully 'Only a Seat' haha.

OK, things that bug me about the Cupra R are..

1) Road noise, this is above average for any car, but I intend to do a comprehensive sound deadening job on it as I'm upgrading the ICE system ☺

2) the start/stop system has a mind of it own, it stops then instantly starts back up before you even have chance to take foot off brake, I just turn this off most of the time anyway so no biggie..

3) the Cd player (yeah, I'm one of the saddos that still likes to spin a few CD's) is so far out of reach it's dangerous to attempt changing a disc on the move.

as for things I love, the looks, performance, interior, the dash, the pano roof, it ticks just about every box, simply an awesome car!

Maybe I'm blind but I haven't seen the symbol at 2'oclock. I'll take a look this evening. Hope it's there otherwise they've missed it on my car.
I thought mine didn’t have it till I looked harder! Must be one of those blind spots

Get an autochanger put in the boot.

Love the night time red glow (63 plate so not many choices and I coded white out ), the looks, the ease of keeping the 18s clean and the overall driving fun, yet economical return. Also SEAT sound

Hate, strong word; I detest the vibration I get on certain roads from near the B pillar or rear passenger side door card. Hate the MIB1 unit that I cannot update and make use of the heads up turn by turn on the VIS unit.

Already on the job, fitting an Alpine 6 disc unit with optical output as part of an upgrade, here is the controller I finished..

What do you love the most about your car and hate the most?

Me... Love the dsg box and hate the auto wipers, got a mind of their own and sod all to do with the amount of rain falling.

I always hated the fact it didn't have a heated windscreen. You can't even get it as an option. Piss poor when Fiesta's have them .

Isn't it the same as your rear defrost? Stays on for say 10 mins etc, or detects frost or low external temp, (below 4degC?)
Not sure on the timing...can't seem to find it in the manual? HRW yes approx. 10 mins and the mirror heating certainly works when its 10-14 degrees and mirror misty/wet these mornings. My last car (Nissan) the mirror heaters worked in tandem with HRW when turned on.

I have a 2019 290 Lux

Love - Acceleration/Performance in general.

Hate - Car Play temperamental, no gas strut, shifting from P to D feels stiff and heavy.

Love:
- The colour, I've still not seen another Leon FR in the same colour as mine.
- The DSG, so smooth and simple for comfort but very fun and responsive in sport, especially using the paddles, tap downshift twice and you're off
- The engine, very economical but really shifts for a 1.4 with 150-ish bhp

Hate:
- The rattles, the boot lid especially but now there's one at the top of the driver's door and it drives me mad but nothing the radio can't fix
- No sport display on the MIB despite FR being a sport spec
- Stand out like a sore thumb that's on fire

We have a meet in Letchworth soon, there is a Rolling Road meet up north in November and in the early stages of one in January in Blackpool so depends on your location.

Fiestas have them as they are patented by ford! Land Rover is the only other brand I know that has them and that is due to the fact that they were developed when Ford owned Land Rover

I have driven Fords with the quick clear front screen and find the lines distracting.

Oh and with the heated mirror switch... If you are driving and want to change from reverse dip to heated, make sure you turn the knob anti clockwise...... if you turn it clockwise, you'll go over the mirror fold possition and your mirrors WILL fold in!

Wrong.

They were patented by Ford but that patent ran out years ago.

Most brands have them. SKODA do it as part of the Winter Pack in the Superb.
