Stuck on the present from Santa. Not sure I’m happy with the placement, or whether it’s completely straight... but it’ll do for now

It feels a lot better. Wont be going back. Took me about 20 minutes. I've heard about the spring removal but not explored it yet buddy.

Just had a look at your link. I have seen the spring when investigating the clutch feel.
May take it off to see how it feels.

Little pic of the valve after removal. Some people say to destroy it in place but you can remove it with destroying it.

I had the valve removed a few months ago, I’m probably going to attempt the spring later today :)

Did you fit these yourself? I've popped the mirror out and unscrewed the motor but can't quite work out how to unclip the housing itself. Any help would be appreciated!

You just need to remove the painted cover which is plastic and has a few clips. I think I broke 1 on each side, but it clips back on ok. It's best to take off by hand, the plastic tools mark the plastic I found

After that it's 3 torx screws and the connector

Enabled ‘ambient colours based on driving profile’ and added 4 more colours to the infotainment. Using VCDS

Annoyingly my MIB2 needs updating to support colour change in the menu.

I will be washing my car as it appears my car had a firework explode on it. It's absolutely caked in white and brick coloured powder along with case debris. Not happy at all.

Went out for a early morning blast. Not many cars about but rain soon stopped my fun.

Looks nice and dry like the car will stay clean for more than half a day, unlike the useless U.K. shitheap loose gravel badly fixed pothole covered wet sludgy crappy roads we have to endure here.
Hahah, Yeah first few days with dry roads since october

Tailgated in the city today by a Mercedes CLA 250 with an AMG badge on one side of the boot and a C63 badge on the other. Thought that was an odd looking C class so had to look it up (the reg no).
