I bought it a few years ago when I had my Blue 290. Think it cost me like £20 from an eBay store.

Only took 20mins to clean - after watching a few YouTube videos I decided to give it a go.

Just ordered some. Been wanting to fit the panel filter @Damo H passed to me and thought I should give it a clean and fit it setting as the car hasn’t moved in two weeks.

Well be fitting my Bonnet Gas Struts too.

It’s amazing how much a roof spoiler changes the look of the car isn’t it

It is amazing you’re right, I think the pictures don’t do it much justice but in person it makes it looks so much more attractive.

Not today, but yesterday...

I done a small upgrade that all manual Cupra owners should do. The difference is night and day!

Pic: Before (on top) and After (on bottom)

Airbox and battery are required to be removed. And drilling holes and sawing/sanding plastic is also required, but if I can do it, anyone can!

I’ve not upgraded to a short shifter as I wanted to see what this was like first. I’ve been for a 10 mile trip to/from the shop and I really don’t think I need the short shifter. The gears feel so smooth, so slick and just a nice fast engaging gear selection. I may try a short shifter in a month or so, but acceleration seems so much better with the gear changes.

Todays job will hopefully be upgrading the shifter bracket to a metal one with upgraded bushes also.

Looks nice! TBH, I don't get on with short shifters... maybe I'm just too old to relearn. LOL. But all I ever ended up doing was letting the clutch up too early and getting the gearstick stuck. Plus the Cupra is a shorter throw anyway.
