Hiya,

Is there any way to gather all the service records of a car without the service book?

Im in the process of buying a new car(2nd hand), but the service book is missing. Its done 43k, and it has been serviced, but has no records.

Is there a phone number for Seat head office that I can ring, so they can check the main database to find all the work done on the car by seat garages?

The person you are buying from (person or garage) might know, you could then ask the garage for proof. I think

i wasnt aware that servicing information was held in a central database?

I bought my motor from a Honda garage. Im now on the Honda books. I can phone up and ask about my history.

No reson not to phone and ask, they can only say no.
