Hi, im looking for other options other than Revo for remapping my Leon FR TDI in Northern Ireland.

I know there are a couple of companies outside Ballymena that do remaps, has anyone got any experiences of them, good or bad..and also any prices?

I would love Revo but having trouble getting the 500 or so reddies together.

or Ecc in lisburn would map it for you. A mate of mine had his bmw 320d done by them and is happy with it.

they also have an 850 BHP EVO6 which they mapped

Like the sound of Ecc, do they have a web-site or know where i can get their contact details?
I guess they are cheaper than Revo?

Leon is less than 1 year old so want a bit of peace of mind without worrying about things going wrong with the engine! Thats the reason i was going to wait for Revo but a sound cheaper alternative could be the answer...

Got in contact with ECC...
They quoted £400 (inc VAT) for a live re-map which includes the RR before and after and a test drive to make sure you're happy.

Think Revo would be better value for £470 as option to buy SPS to turn it off/on would be useful.

What to do...what to do...!

have Ecc mapped many 1.8t 20v cars and what sort of bhp did they quote you

They havnt done any SEAT PD150's, only the equivalent in the Skodas or VWs.
They also havnt done any 1.8T 20V 180bhp only the 225bhp.

Figures they quoted are;

PD150- +30 to +35 bhp
+40 to +45 torque

Same figures are quoted for the 1.8T but with slightly less torque increase.

Would Revo be the same?

highly recommend OBD autotune (Ballymena), they done my motor after christmas, made the car a lot nicer to drive with a smoother much harder pull to the redline. Very competitive price as well, and if you're not happy they can put it back to standard without charge.

ecc might be good if they can stand by their work, triple 7 do revo and is a good product but ive found that triple 7 (aidan) isnt a "people" person though his work is fine. basically id say if driving to dunamore doesnt bother you then go revo, ecc is lisburn , id ask them what software they use first though. (only two id give my money to in NI.

I got my leon fr tdi Revo'd at triple 7 , i find the revo sweet .
Money well spent ,
Before and after service i got from revo
would be very hard to beat and i am fussy
and hard to please.

Ps as for Aidan i found him sound, not alot of talk from him,
but they are all like that down there.
His work is good thats the main thing.

Mmmm, think i may just have to save for a couple of extra weeks and get Revo.
Think the extra is probably better for a proven remap and also switchable helps. ;)
