Due to the un faultering genius that is VW, I have a Dual mass flywheel worth a good £680ish that is looking like the cause of my problems.

There are aparently two types, a SACHS and a LM002 (<-- think thats the code). Would anyone know with out having the box out which one any particular car would have?

Please help as im loosing faith in my SEAT!!!!!

Not able to help wit flywheel, but i'm losing faith to, i found the fault to my clutch, now it decides where the pedal sits by itself!!! one minute it has no play, next minute it has nearly 3 inches of play!!! Gotta go to seat on Saturday so might get them to have a look. I know it's not the welds, doubt it's the pedal box, hoping it's not the clutch itself!!!!!

Good luck with yours mate!!!

Cheers for that one, guna convert to single mass fly wheel i think, means less future problems and the chance for a lighter one.

Did a quick search yesterday but still couldbt quite understand what i need to do it.

Ive got a standard clutch which is 280mm?

So it would be a VR6 Flywheel?

Would i need anything else?

There is only one part number for the flywheels. You should only have the 225mm clutch in the car too.

If you want to PM me your vin number then i can check??

I can also give you a very reasonable price on a flywheel too!!

Na, he wants somthing like 380 quid to fit it, he seemed quiet confident that it would and if it dosnt i will chuck it on ebay and get at least my money back.

Ive just picked up a brand new genuine vw g60 fly with vr6 clutch for 250 quid, local garage has quoted 100 quid for the job.
