If you've had a p/ex offer of 12k I'd rip their arm off seriously, did you get a discount on the S2000? I've just sold a 2004 53 plate standard car same miles, and colour as yours totally mint for 10.5k p/ex'd against a pre-reg STmondy. Punted it around the forums for a bit and didn't get much of a sniff over £12.5k, it really is a buyers market I'm afraid.
I did not get around to discussing the discount on the S2000, but the way he made it should, I don't think I have much of a chance. Said something about only getting 15 cars a year, I am guessing that is just this dealer so did not seem to feel inclined to offer much... I am still very much in three minds about which car I would like. My short list is the Elise 111R, S2000 and 350Z. I have had a 20 min test drive in the Elise and loved it but need a longer go to be sure I could live with it being my only car. I hope to test the 350Z next week, but I am put off by its high fuel consumption, which I know is silly when looking at cars like this but the Elise with give 32-34mpg, the S2000 around 30mpg while I think the Nissan is significantly lower....
what would you guys go for?
