im always weary of buying this, just think if when you peal it off, to either replace it, it might leave loads of residue and then your bonnet will be fooked.

get a speedbra instead, like the german boys use on the dubs/audis. they look quite cool and easy to take on and off.

I had this put on as a upgrade on my car (VentureShield around petrol filler, all locks, wing mirrors, wheel arches and sills and front bumper and half way up bonnet). I think it is fantastic except that I keep crappying myself when I look at the car and think I have a huge scratch when in fact it is just the line of the end of the plastic sheet.

You are supposed to treat it like normal body work and wax and polish as if it was not there. You do have to pay attention when you wax, othewise, residue build up makes the edges of the plastic highly visible. When you come to sell, the company will remove it and it leaves no residue. The film is also UV transparent and maybe breathable, anyhow, they say the paint will not be a different colour under the plastic when removed.

I noticed that Lotus and Nissan 350Z can come with this fitted as dealer options. All demo Lotus's at my local dealer have it fitted and they take it off before selling the cars as X-demo.

For the full kit on the lotus, it was quoted as £499, I got that knocked down to £400, which the dealer claims he took a knock on, as they themselves don't really make a profit on selling it.....

Obviously, the less you protect, the cheaper it gets, up to a point
