well after writing the ibiza off as seen here

i bought this beauty after 2 weeks of searching . picked it up from leeds yesterday. and what a drive home it was. 225 bhp through quattro 4wd. was between this and the seat leon cupra R and for me this was far to goog to miss out on. paid £10500 for it. 51 plate. 52,000 miles. full Audi service history. 12 months mot, 2 new tyres. immaculate. not a scratch. well chuffed :D

just read the thread on your old car mate gutted for ya... until i saw what you've just bought lol, "every cloud" and all that. looks quality and as for the LCR well 4 wheels is always better 2 lol

is the 4wd system on these hadlex ? whats it good for power wise, prefer the looks of the leon and the interior is too bland but 4wd :D

Yep they do use Haldex. They are good for over 500bhp, but they only really fail when they are not maintained. We will always change the oil and filter every 20k. Audi usually only change it every 40k and thats usually if the customer has asked for it!!

I do hope you will be upgrading the Haldex to the performance unit? We are the official Haldex UK importers dont u know!!;)

TT's, A3 quattro/S3, R32, Octavia etc all use Haldex. The new platforms use the MK2 haldex to which the performance controller is switchable between stock, sport and race modes. Race is fun;)

There is also a race MK1 Haldex unit as used by the Skoda rally teams. Its keeps drive to the rear wheels even under braking. Super sideways everywhere. Would never use this on the roads!!!

its not torn on the bolster, just the blsk leather has went grey, hardly worth crying about oh and theres a tear in the driverside mat. but otherwise immaculate inside.
