The car i just bought had stickers down the sides, i used boiling water to remove them as this melted the glue... the remaining glue on the car i removed with an alcohol based product...
Now the paint looks as if it has gone wierd, looks like its faded...
Its done this over night, as when i finished removing them i polished the panel and it all looked spot on... now ive just had a look and its gone a little faded...

Whats have i done? :(
Can i fix it any how?

its lacquered if i remember rightly, the rotary will take a tiny layer off, it cant be any worse than whats already happened. best thing is that you van pick up a rotary for less than 35 quid compared to well over a ton for a pc.

T-Cut... cheers Brendy, i figured if a buff would work, then a going over with T-Cut might too. Its coming off, so thats a good thing... well... not coming off, but making it disappear, cos theres nothing to actually take off if you get me.
Thanks for the advice anyway :D

Much appreciated
I think it might have been the boiling water maybe that caused it? maybe condensation under the laquer?

Usually a hair dryer to careful use of a hot air gun will take transfers and decals off paint work. You just need to heat them gently to get a corner up then again heat all over while you carefully peel away.
