Alright all

I've been having some trouble getting my LCR set up to go straight and wonder if anyone has any suggestions??

Since having the car it has always vered of to the left which i find really annoying.

As soon as i bought it i took it straight to national Tyres to get the tracking done.

That didn't cure it so took it back to get it checked again and they said it was spot on.

I then took the car back to LC.Charles and they took it somewhere else to get the tracking done........three times... and it's still pulling to the left.

They did something with the camber too and also replaced a wishbone for some reason but still no good.

In the end L.C Charles told me that the car was straight as a die and that it's the camber of the road causing the wide tyres to fall to the left.

I agree in some respect but i can drive on the wrong side of the road and it still pulls to the left.

It's quite handy on a long left hand bend on a motorway but sod all use anywhere else!!!!!

I wondered about a seized caliper but it doesn't pull any more when i put the brakes on.

Anyone help???

Both mine did it, and I thought the same. Got the first car put on a Beissbarth 4 wheel alignment system and it was spot on. Just the nature of the beast. Maybe there is more weight over the offside than the nearside that drags it in, but you'd have thought the weight of the driver would have more than compensated.

Mine does this very slightly, two that I test drove did as well. Also been through having alingment checked and being told all ok (by someone I trust, not Kwik Fit). The tyres wear very evenly across the tread, if something was really out it would show itself there. Very strange indeed.

Mine pulls very slightly to the left. I thought it was a "feature" of LCRs!!!

It's not annoying enough to worry about, always thought it was just the camber of the road until I started thinking about it. Tracking is fine and tyres wear perfectly evenly on mine as well.

Just one of those things!

A full alignment would be more sufficient that tracking. Tracking is merely to make sure your wheels are straight and therefore don't ruin one part of a tyre quicker than the other. Which is why most tyre places offer this service.

Hmmm, yes had mine 4 days and getting annoying, does not pull at slow speeds only over about 60mph. Actually hurts my arm having to hold it against its will all the time.

Take your car to awesome GTI in manchester for a full 4wheel laser allignment test.

It works wonders and sorted mine out:)

Cost about £70-80 if i remember right.

ah! how many times have i heard this before!
1.a road is not flat for a start it runs to the left to allow for drainage
2.ure using low profile tyres and big rims so it will tram line to an extent
3.if you went down th motorway the wrong way it would pull to the right!
take it onan airfield or racetrack and see it then will drive lovely
