Probably a stupid question but where is the hole to plug my vag com cable on ma mk4 tdi is cant find it

Behind the small compartment that is to the lower right of the steering wheel.

Yes, open it then give it a tug downwards as if trying to open it even wider. You'll see the purple OBD connector behind.

rathey than "tug" the compartment down, squeeze the top corners like its a clip
