Vag Com anyone got it in Essex (Colchester)

after my traction control fuse melted I had to reset the battery

traction control is now all fine and new fuse in place


however, when warm, the car idles at 1200-1300

it starts fine and idles at 1200 then drops to 800, but when warm goes wrong


someone else said

"The exact same thing happened to mine when my fan fuse went. Get it plugged in to diagnostics. With me it was just a fault code thrown up for the idle actuator. Cleared and reset the code and back to normal. Thought it was something more serious as the engine had overheated, but that's all it was."


so, has anyone got vag com anywhere near me? could do with clearing the codes

Got the basic version (409.1) in Braintree - I can clear fault codes with it...and it can run a diagnostic if that's all you need...

think i've found someone a few miles away who can take a look

will see what fault codes i get and go from there


went into limp mode again last night
