Stock Clutch is starting to go, Which one should I upgrade to?

Last RR print out shows 249bhp and 299lbs Torque, stock clutch held up for about 6months or so fine but gave in tonight after some enthusiastic driving.

Any suggestions on what to go for and were to get it? Not going to spend to much £ on one that does more than what I need.

Sounds ok, Just the clutch kit and flywheel needed? No Modifying? Were's good to get the parts from?

Check www.ecstuning.com. They do a kit for $340 dollars which is vr6 clutch and flywheel with all bits required. Awesome are distributors for them I just got my ecs timing belt kit there!!

how about a lightened g60 fly wheel and vr6 clutch. dont go to light or you will get gearbox chatter 14lbs should be ok.

hes also running an aluminium flywheel, lol, ask him about gearbox chatter...its replaced his stereo

Like the idea of the one you posted Karl. Just dont want any import tax, would prefer a Uk dealer if pos.

Also would 14lbs have any risks at all? Dont wana cause anymore hassle down the line.

How can I confirm what size of clutch I need? Its a 2002 cupra with AYP engine code

Unfortunately you cant. You can only tell once its out! Had this myself and ordered both clutches and returned the one that I didnt use.
