Just fitted aquamist and cant get it to work Craig advised to bypass the ignition live and hard wire via a switch on dash which ive done but do i need to conect the ignition live wire also to perm live!!!! I didnt want to try it and the the fekker up. Help very much apreciated:banghead2

I have no idea about electronic's mate, so i'll offer moral support, hope you get it sorted. I'm sure craig will give you a hand or talk you through it.

I would say yes as ignition live is the same as permenent live.......just switched via ignition but if you are wiring your own switch then i cant see why not.....although you may want to wait for craigs response.

Thanks for support guys.
I hope Craig can shed some light on this one i dont think it will do any harm connecting the ign live to perm live but i think i will wait to positive...

Bill it is a 1s yes.
Its the ign live wire at the end of the loom (3 wire cont live-earth and ign live)
Do i just connect the ign live to the same perm live after a fuse!!!

You need an earth, perm live and switched live... Switched live is purple, live is red and earth is black. I'd run a switch inbetween the perm live if you don't want it running all the time when above 10psi.

I took mine from the battery for live and earth and tapped the switch live into the secondary water pump.

I also added a switch to the thing from the battery live.
I now run Snow Performance system. much quieter pump.
Aquamist pump seized solid.. :(

Were did you connect into the secondary water pump! at the fuse carrier on the battery or some were else. :headhurt:
