i been looking at what engine to buy.

not sure on the advantages from one to the other. as im rebuilding it i think the main difference is the head!

what engines have a largeport?

is bjx one of them?

AGU is a large port head.

Isnt AEB a large port, sure thats from a passat or something.

Yup, AEB is early longitudinal mounted 1.8t.

BJX is 2002 onwards, I would say that it is a small port.

i ended up buying a 15,000 miles AUQ from a 2005 tt

got my eyes on phils head at mo (no comments please )

does anyone know if the valves different sizes as well as the ports on the largeport? i guess they are but just to confirm

im not sure if a largeport head is just large ports or large ports and large valves
