Better off going for big turbo conversion
Its more hastle than its worth getting to LCR 225 spec
BUT
If its just the 225 power you want that is far easier

want 225 BHP from a 180 unit, easy enough... exhaust, filter, dv, remap, done!

want 325 BHP from a 180 unit, not so easy, but so much more fun!!! .... IHI all the way matey!!!!

As said above, getting the engine to 225bhp is easy enough - is that what you want to do or do you want the whole car up to 'R' spec? It's unclear from your post...

I didn't mean to be harsh and had a few beers last night :lol: but I would rather have a 225 to start with and tune that up. Than spending a fair amount on getting a 180 up to 225 spec. I only meant for people going the whole hog, bumpers, wheels, skirts etc... Not to mention the insurance increase in some cases that actually work out worse for the mods declared. I'd just get a 225. IMO.
