onvi losin its laquer

i've got a 2001 onvi leon I was washing the car 2day and i noticed that there is a hole in my laquer, the paint underneath looks more like the colour the car should be. I'm tempted to use the pressure washer on it to get all the laquer off and the t-cut the faded paintwork. If i did do this i would obviously want a coat of laquer put back.

Has any1 done this and taken their car 2 a bodyshop 2 be re-laquered?

Another one bites the dust.

My advice is not to touch it yourself and take it to a pro quick sticks! You might be able to save it before you are looking at a full re-spray. Take a look at a post in the top 10 about this or a search will return loads of problems like this will the Yellow & Red paints.

the colour below is matt... its supposed to be as its a baseocat and lacquer system
very same thing on my ovni ibiza.

too long between basecoat and lacquer - SEAT shite as you like paintwork.
