My car has been taken for granted lately, and not had a decent clean on 2 months, so i decided it was time to smarten it up a bit with a good clean and a layer of wax.
This wax was given to me by Iain from Finer Details as a sample from a company he rates quite highly, so i was keen to try it on my car.
I only washed and dried the car before applying the wax, i never clayed or polished it, so i'm happy with the results.
Just a shame the sun was going down as i finished :(

Looks good Davey! I know what you mean, I actually spent yesterday cleaning the car very well, trying a new sealant with 40% wax in it and collinite 476s wax. Car was shiney but because there was no sunshine it was hard to show off the wax. This morning however the sunlight was beaming on the car and it looked superb.

Looking back now I should have started earlier in the day and clayed the car, i think that would of made a big difference to show of the sealant and wax.

Thanks for the replys guys.
I woke this morning to find it had a thin layer of snow over it, and after a day of driving around it soon picked up road salt aswell as the usual marks from rain, road grime and then sunny spells to bake it all on :(
At least it looked good for a few hours, even it was too dark to tell

@rich.h44 don't worry mate, my car doesn't go months on end without a clean, normally 2 weeks max since the baby arrived, but it does get a weekly clean when time permits :D
