Downpipe query

But how am I gonna solve this problem then? as it sits against bottom of car, because the hole is placed on top of pipe, whereas it should have been the side...?

weld it up and drill/tap the side??

I closed it off now with a bolt they supplied. But why do you still need it, and what are the effect of me running it now without the Lambda plugged in?

Fault code and CEL with time I'd imagine. It will also affect fueling so you may start running too lean/rich.

Think I am running slightly richer already. Is it possible to drill the side and stick it in there?

That's what I'd do, just try and re-locate it with a new hole in the pipe

you cant tap 1.5mm metal. you gota weld a boss in
