Bonnet moving at speed

Has anyone noticed their bonnet flapping around at high speed. Looked at the bonnet and it was bending and flapping like it was about to fly open. Pulled over to check it was closed correctly and all was good. Had a fiddle with it by pulling on the gaps above the lights and it appears to be very flexible.

Erm no, but define high speed, i'm guessing you were either on a track or a private road?

Nothing to do with the Aero kit, its the design of the bonnet i suspect.

Noticed it around 140 and by 150+ it looks very scary

The problem seems to be the gap between the top of the headlights and bonnet.

Wierd that this post should come up just as I was going to post something similar! It had rained yesterday and the paintwork had beaded well (just been waxed a couple of days ago). I went out for a quick cruise at a fairly relaxed 80-90mph and for some reason I thought I sit up straight and look down the bonnet to see how the water moved off it (bit dangerous but the road was quiet) - that was when I noticed the bonnet flexing up and down too.

Seems like a bit of a design flaw to me - especially if it gets worse at 100+

I just hope that latch is strong enough to hold it all down!
