Are LSDs standard?

No, they just have normal differentials like all cars as standard. Hense why you'll find the n/s wheel spin up faster than the o/s because of the shorter shaft.

do ibizas have a type of lsd in as standard.

Mechanic fitting my vr6/g60 setup told me my ibizas got an lsd.

no physical slip diff in there sadly.. he's maybe confused with it having edl which is only abs sensor trying to stop a spinning wheel nto a locking diff.

most common/popular uprated diffs are torque biasing (tor-sen) diffs, like quaife and peloquin. very nice to have in fwd high power cars

it might be me being daft, dont know too much about transmissions but....i thought when the car is lifted off the floor, and one wheel is turned,a normal diff would allow the opposite wheel turn in the opposite direction, but on my standard ibiza by turning one wheel, both turned at the same time! and with my IHI cupra and standard box it certainly handles the power quite well, only in a straight line in the dry may i add!
