here are some pics of my rear speaker adapters i fabricated today, meaning i can use a 15cm speaker in the oem position.

Really pleased how they turned out just waiting on my speakers to be delivered before i fit them into the car.

I havn't had chance to cover them yet but will do it sometime and get some pics to show you, but for now here are pics of them.

was reading through mikey_kc's thread and am going to change direction on my engine bay clean up slightly as his inspried me it looks immense.

so i have a spare chrge pipe coming from beattie boy and a spare inlet mani from chris cruzon and im going to get polishing!

along with the other things thats still need fitting like my forge TIP, front lower brace and catch tank!

I have made relatively no progress since christmas apart from my amp being mounted and installed correctly now and my speakers adapters finished and covered in flock style fabric so those should be in this weekend.

Also getting my milltek problem diagnosed at the weekend and if its what i think it is, broken baffle in centre box, i will be getting a new one ordered next week and finally get my exhaust to stop rattling!

will post pics up when my speker adapters are installed

Right got a bit done this weekend!

Firstly took the car in to get the milltek problem disgnosed before i bought any replacement parts and turns out it was a bracket that wouldn close properly so the exhasut was loose and sitting to far back so must have been blowing, but they fitted in free of charge so im happy! My exhaust was also filthy and hadnt had a decent clean in ages so got the metal polish out and got all the black bits and tarnish marks off and polished it up and it looks great

Then i went down to pick up my seat sport strut brace from the seat dealers and got the fitted up and i have to say it was money veyr well spent it really stiffens up the front end considerably and really transforms the car! cant wait to get my lower front one on and see if that makes more of a difference!

CIMG0338.jpg

I also finished up my speaker adpaters and covered them in a flock fabric! then i got them glued and screwed into the side inserts and then got these back into the boot! then got them all wired in to the amp then set my amp up properly and what a difference! The sound quality is amazing and the speakers in the rear make a massive difference compared to the original units! So round speaker oval whole a 13cm where a 6" x 4" was! and here's how it looks:

Mate this car is exactly what i want to do to mine, have you fitted the speakers, and is there a real difference as its shocking standard.
Also if you wouldnt mind could you give me a link to the forge ip and the jetex set up u got. Also the strut braces. Lol i know im asking a lot but its the same direction im going in.

Yeah the speakers work great and its a seriously great improvement over standard for not a massive cost the bigger speakers in the bck make it much improved and amping up the standard stereo saves loads of hassle trying to fit a aftermarket hu.
