Hey, just bought a cupra tdi, putting the r body kit on it along with some cupra r alloys. Could anyone tell me which was the higher modle when new, the cupra tdi or fr tdi ? Has been confusing me for ages.

Thanks

i dont really think there was a "high" model as both are exactly the same apart from the FR+ having the Cupra R kit bar 18"inch alloys. the FR+ got 17" versions. (i guess technically the FR+ is the higher model)

kinda like a face lift just before the MK1 went out of production

i believe FR's were more expensive to buy new, due to differant wheels and mirrors etc etc so i would say FR is higher model but it doesnt really work like that mate
