I need a new exhaust as mine has blown, which is covered under warranty but is it that time to get a stainless steel and then have no more worries?

The sound on standard is poor and i am looking for not a noisy exhaust but one that on tick over has somethin about it bit of a burble . Not sure that i will get this from a Resonated exhaust or should i go to a Non resonated ?

Is there any1 local to me that has either fitted so that i can hear in the flesh ? Or is there sound clips comparing the three of standard , resonated and non resonated. Have listened to some on you tube but hard to compare

Also if i go stainless steel route will have a brand new from cat back exhaust system for a Cupra for sale any1 interested ?

The Milltek's sound great on the Cupra, as does the APR stealth system (ZBoyd has fitted). We can supply supply the Milltek at a 10% discount. Give me a PM or a call and i can run through the options and everything for you

Sorry the New Forest is way down south near to Southampton. Did you not have a Milltek fitted before you changed your car from reading previous posts? What did you think compared to the standard exhaust?

Which system was it ? Non resonated . I am more swayed towards this but i don't want it to sound like a boy racer , don't want to be heard from a mile away !!

As age 40 close approaching wouldn't look good !! :)

Non resonated mate. I had the choice of either, but I am glad I chose non resonated. The car sounds crisp and powerful when going canny, but when you boot it, the sound is as per the clip above. Most people love the noise it makes, and with it being a Milltek, it wont drone inside the car.

Sounds nice i assume thats non resonated . I also saw a post that you put on when it was standard. In normal use would you say that the exhaust is over noisy i don't want it to sound like a boy racer coming down the road I want a more classy sound.

I heard a nice VXR today on the road that sounded good which i assume was not standard.

I think i need to hear one on the road in person/go for a ride in one ideally !:)

Sorry for a late reply here, not had chance to get to a computer all weekend!

If you are able to hear one in the flesh then that will definately help with your decision. One thing to bear in mind though is whether you want to go for a turbo or cat back system, as the downpipe can also effect the way the system sounds. The way i normally look at it is that if you have any doubt at all that it may be too loud for you then go for the resonated system. If you then reckon you could deal with it being a bit louder etc at a later date then you can always get a non-res centre section seperately and have it fitted.
Hope that helps :)

Thats ok Andy.

I was looking to go for a cat back system. Would it be possible to do it the other way round and fit a non resonated and if it's a bit much then fit the resonated section ? What costs would i be looking at for Non resonated cat back system and what is the optional cost for the resonated section? if required

I am at a later stage looking to revo the car i assume that the non resonated would be best for this?

Is the 10% discount already shown on your website or is it an SCN discount?

The "Milltek cat-back exhaust for A3/Golf/Leon 2.0T FSI 2WD" is showing as £373 so I'm assuming £337 with discount.

How much is delivery and what sort of price should I anticipate a local garage to fit?

AT C3PRA - I have a Milltek Turbo Back exhaust system (Resonated - works excellent with REVO) and live in East Sussex, if this helps, you're more than welcome to have a listen if you can get over to me;) - it sounds stunning, I'm the 2nd person to have one fitted to the K1 after REVO's.
