Been a member now for ages and just havent had enough info to put my car in the readers ride section until now, got a few pics and i have progressed a bit with it to, so here goes.

Ibiza cupra 2000

MODs:
there is very few at the moment, brought it totally standard apart from the wheels.

Bailey DV30
IK22 Denzo plugs
open cone filter
LED sidelights with 100w bulbs (close to hid standards)
Supersprint backbox with centre silencer removed (powerflow)
Plasma LED boost guage in single pillar pod

So this is what it looked like when i first brought it

then i got bored of the shiny wheels so i sprayed them black as a temp look, was a nice change

ignore the dent, i brought the car like it, its getting done along with a full blow over in feb, cant wait for no faded bodywork

got the supersprint exhaust on now,had it done just before xmas. pops and bangs lovely with the centre box taken out.

i sprayed it to match the pillar

and the finished product, very inpressed with it tbh, fitted it a few weeks back.

i have just brought a set of standard cupra wheels yesterday and i am in the process of also spraying them so once they are done will get some pics up tomo of the wheels off and on the car.

suspension being ordered hopefully in 2days time if i can manage 2get hold of the place that orders them in.

ot totally sure where the guage came from, was ordered for me. company i think is called Mcgill motorsport.

so i ordered my coilees yesterday, they should be here hopefully after the weekend so i can get them fitted and the wheels aligned at work in the week, need to because i have a trackday at brands hatch next saturday, so car has to be set up right, other wise 2 laps and im gonna have slick tyres!!

got my cupra wheels on the car now, handles and accelarates so much better now i have gone down from 17s to 16s, ill be taking pics once i have the coilovers and a few finishing touches to the wheels done and of course of the trackday

ill be doing mine at work mate with the help of some of the tech guys, got the ramps and stuff here so will be much easier to do

UPDATED, AP coilees fitted!! happy days

Just an update, Had the car lowered on AP coilovers over the weekend, simple to change and the quality of the shocks is second to none.

that is out the box height, it is going to go another inch or so lower this week once the weather has cleared up. recommend these to any1!!

mine is burried at the mo mate so it will be staying there till the snow is off mine, think the car had enough abuse yesterday lol

Looking good dude! Can't wait to get mine on! May well be a good thing that I didn't get them on earlier as my car would have been a snow plough!

well i think it was one of the quickest in my group, never got over taken by anything thought the day so cant be a bad thing lol, do need more tho

yea the coilovers tooka bit of a bashing for there first time out but they did me proud!! brakes did let me down tho, may have a set of s3 brakes coming my way but i read on a s3 setup thread that tey dont fit under the standard cupra wheels so not sure if im gonna attempt to fit them yet.

huuum... why dont you wait till you get some alloys with enough clearance? Are the S3 breaks 4pots with the 312mm disks?

When i get the cash think im going to get the badger 5 set up, brembo grooved disks and ferrodo ds2500 pads!

just thought i would add some pics from my brands hatch trackday, was a good laugh and im defo gonna do somemore now that i actually have some decent brakes on the car.

Great pics mate! Car looks really good on the track, bet those AP's made a big difference to cornering.
